NEW TESTAMENT.
Haydock's New Testament commentary is available in two versions:
1. The original version. The Greek letters that appear in the original text have been rendered using
the Symbol font. This version is recommended for those whose word-processing software supports the Symbol font.
(This version has not yet been proofread.) :

2. The original version but without the Greek letters. This version is the same as the original version (1., above), except
that the Greek letters appearing in the original text have been transliterated into italicized and underlined English letters. For
example, the Greek phrase, IhsouV CristoV Qeou uioV swthr, has been transliterated and appears as
Iesous Christos Theou uios soter. This version is recommended for those whose word-processing software
does not support the Symbol font. (This version has not yet been proofread.) :

This link features a Douay-Rheims Bible and Haydock commentary. As of January 2005, this site was
under construction, last updated in 2002. Commentary for the first five books of the Old Testament (the Pentateuch:
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) and the last book of the New Testament (the Apocalypse) was
available.
New American Bible
This is a link to the New American Bible with book introductions and footnote commentary at the U.S. Conference
of Catholic Bishops' website ( www.usccb.org). Caution: The book introductions and footnote commentary accompanying the New American
Bible at this website are problematic since they favor theories currently in vogue among some of today's
Bible scholars which, in my opinion, conflict with the dogmatic teaching of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church regarding the
authorship and historicity of the books of the Bible, particularly the Gospels.

This link freatures St. Thomas Aquinas' Catena Aurea (or Golden Chain), a compilation of
